Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Project Artemis: Ascent handles local gameplay progress, optional Game Center leaderboards, App Store purchases, and support requests.

Overview

How the game handles data in plain language.

Project Artemis: Ascent is designed as a single-player iOS game with local gameplay progress. We do not operate our own account system, analytics service, advertising network, or tracking system for the game.

The app uses Apple services for optional Game Center leaderboards and App Store in-app purchases. Those services are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

Data We Do Not Collect

No account, tracking, or advertising profile.

  • We do not require a Project Artemis account.
  • We do not collect location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or health data.
  • We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
  • We do not track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not sell personal data.

Local Gameplay Data

Progress stored on your device.

Project Artemis: Ascent stores gameplay progress and settings locally on your device using Apple system storage. This helps the game remember your progress and preferences between sessions.

  • Stars, lives, shields, lasers, boosters, and hyperdrives
  • Best altitude, best flight time, and best star run
  • Pending leaderboard scores waiting for Game Center submission
  • Daily challenge progress
  • Music, sound effects, volume, and vibration settings
  • Local purchase delivery markers used to avoid duplicate reward delivery

This local data remains on your device unless removed by deleting the app, clearing app data through system behavior, or other device-level controls.

Game Center

Optional leaderboards handled by Apple.

If you are signed in to Apple Game Center and use leaderboards, the game may submit scores such as altitude, flight time, and stars collected in a run.

  • Leaderboards include Farthest Ascent, Longest Flight, and Most Stars.
  • Game Center authentication, player identity, display names, and leaderboard services are handled by Apple.
  • If you are not signed in to Game Center, leaderboards may be unavailable or limited to local bests.

In-App Purchases

Mission supply packs through the App Store.

Project Artemis: Ascent may offer mission supply packs through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Purchases are processed by Apple, not directly by us.

  • The app requests available products from the App Store.
  • Apple handles payment, purchase confirmation, and transaction verification.
  • The app receives verified transaction status so rewards can be delivered.
  • The app stores local delivery markers so the same transaction is not delivered twice.

We do not receive or store your credit card number or full payment details.

Support Requests

Information you choose to send us.

If you contact support by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device model, iOS version, screenshots, screen recordings, or issue details.

We use support information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve the game.

Children's Privacy

Under 13.

Project Artemis: Ascent is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through a support request, contact us and we will address the request.

Security

Reasonable safeguards, no perfect security.

We take reasonable steps to protect information you send to us for support. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.
